Free Patterns

It is always a challenge for me to find a crochet pattern that is 1- cute and 2- easy. I like the easy patterns that work up quickly. I can do a few each night that I am watching tv. I thought it would be helpful it we provided free patterns to get you started.

Project Chemo Caps turns 8!

Project Chemo Caps has turned 8 years old this year! I can't believe that I have had the privilege of donating chemo caps for 7 seasons.. and this year will be 8!

In 2013 there was a very busy year in my neck of the woods. I was able to donate quite a few caps. However, I want 2014 to be bigger and better! So I am turning to you! I would love to have some people all over donate to their local hospitals, children's centers and oncology departments.

Please look through our resources on what hats and yarns are most wanted, in most cases. I would also love for you to share your story!

Happy 2012!

Happy New Year!

I am planning on a big year for Project: Chemo Caps. 2012 will be our best year yet!

As of right now I have donated Chemo Caps to Salt Lake City Primary Children's Hospital Oncology Department for 5 years. I always feel guilty that I could not give more. I want to me able to brighten the lives of my sick children this coming year.

I am looking for a few people to help out with a few hats here and there or to bombard the hospital with hats! Which ever you and your time can give. Now you don't have to give them to the hospital I do, I just want all those kids to have enough Chemo Caps around the world.

For the Month of January- since it is already the 17... I am shooting to complete 1 hat. How about you?
